San Jose - check

Looking forward to the turtles!

semi-overcast

Well we've been in San Jose for a day and we've celebrated Costa Rica's national Independence day by viewing a student marching band parade, over paying for a traditional CR dinner, and witnessing a police chase on foot through the crowd. San Jose - check. We look forward to adding our next post from the "Amazon of Costa Rica"!

Yippee! A parade and an overpriced dinner all in one day! Well done little amigos. Sleep well and tell us all about the bus ride to Bataan when you find a computer. xo, mil/mom

"Cruising down the river....to the turtles!" So San Jose offered a little excitement! Did the police catch their prey? Was the over-priced food good? May the chickens on the bus make room for you...Keep having fun!
Love you. Mom

What is a traditional CR dinner? You have to figure your got free entertainment (band & chase)with your meal. sort of like a dinner theater. love you!

I'm with Papa Petry - what is a traditional CR dinner?

I really hope you're keeping a detailed log of all of the food you're eating. You know that's my favorite part.

I just did a hard hat tour of the Columbus Museum of Art. It is lovely plus I learned that Santiago's Art Museum has something from cma for their centennial (?) celebration. cma represents the US in their celebration. Nanette was just there to present (whatever?)... Sooooooo You'll have to check that out!

Checked out both the official and volunteer websites for La Tortuga Feliz. Very impressive and the location looks beautiful. Take lots of pics.
